I attended my DONA approved Doula training course with Carrie Kenner at Big Belly Services in Seattle at the end of 2014. As your Doula, I will commit to at least two prenatal visits with you and your partner, discussions & advice about your birth plan, a birth "rehearsal" to go over common positions and comfort measures, 24-hour availability from 38 weeks until the birth, continuous and confident labor support, and two postpartum visits to talk about the birth, snuggle your baby, help you with laundry, and simply be there for whatever you may need in these first few weeks. I can also assist with initial breastfeeding and have a number of resources that can help you with a smooth transition into the postpartum period.

My fee is $1,600 for the Birth Doula Package, which includes the services listed above. I'm happy to create a payment plan for you if that better suits your family's needs.
